The builders.

Every machine that leaves the workshop has one of their names on it. Not a department, not a ticket number — a person with a builder code, a list of specialities, and a particular way of running cable.

Eight years at BAV, running the Hub A bench since 2019. Specialises in quiet builds, silent PSUs, and 0-decibel fan curves. Runs Arch at home and denies it any chance he gets.

Seven years on the bench. Known for cable routing so clean customers ask if it is AI generated. Will argue the case for Intel on a Tuesday and AMD on a Thursday.

Six years at BAV, came over from a Leeds custom shop. Does most of our custom-loop work and a lot of the rack-mount AV installs. Refuses to touch pump screws without a torque driver.

Four years on the bench, came up through our Hub B apprentice programme. Does the heavy-metal gaming rigs and the occasional streaming setup. Reliably beats every ETA we give her.

Two years at BAV after an apprenticeship with a Coventry system integrator. Does most of our rack-mount and AV switcher wiring. Labels every cable on both ends, every time.

Two years at BAV, moved from a corporate IT role in Solihull for an actual hands-on job. Takes the tower workstation builds and runs Prime95 for longer than strictly necessary.

Two years at BAV. Does steady work on mid-range gaming bundles and starter office PCs. Known for taping a small cactus to her monitor every January and refusing to explain.
